The Technicolour Carnival Collection by Sayuri

Press Sample*

Another awesome new collection launching these days is the Technicolour Carnival Collection by Sayuri. It consists of 7 jelly shades packed with tons of sparkle and launches on January 9th at 7pm AEST on www.sayurinaillacquer.com.
It's inspired by retro fun fairs, a bright world of whirring colours, endless sparkling lights and laughter. Just like a place where you can leave your troubles behind :)

Let's start with the swatches!

The Merry-Makers, a pumpkin toned orange jelly packed with holographic particles, metallic and holographic red micro glitters and golden micro flakes. This polish is named for the workers who dedicate their lives to creating the joy that the carnival brings.

I'm wearing two coats with a glossy top coat.

Musical Maelstrom, a vibrant red jelly with holographic particles, red holographic micro glitter and pops of blue iridescence. This one is inspired by the sounds of the carnival, a confused mixture of noises that come together to create their own music.

This is one coat with a glossy top coat, I was totally surprised with this one!

Timbered Peonies, a magenta jelly packed with shimmer, holographic particles, micro flakes and tiny holographic rose glitters. Carousels are synonymous with carnivals, so this collection needed a carousel inspired polish.

I'm wearing two coats with a glossy top coat.

Cloaked Fortunes, a deep plum-violet jelly full of holographic particles, purple and fuchsia holographic micro glitters and purple shimmer. Every carnival needs a mysterious, cloaked fortune teller.

I'm wearing two coats with a glossy top coat.

Room Of Reflections, a vibrant blue jelly packed with holographic particles, holographic turquoise micro glitters and green-blue micro flakes. Inspired by the classic carnival attraction, the maze of mirrors.

I'm wearing two coats with a glossy top coat.

Games Of Chance, a bright leaf-green jelly full of holographic particles, green and teal holographic glitters and green-blue iridescent flakies. Skill-based carnival games are hardly more than chance when they are so often rigged!

I'm wearing two coats with a glossy top coat.

Skies Ignite, a black jelly full of holographic particles, black and red holographic glitters and rainbow iridescence. Inspired by the carnival's big finale, the fireworks.

I'm wearing two coats with a glossy top coat.

I have to confess, I didn't expect I would like them SO much! Jelly polishes are always a bit tricky for me as I hate it when my free edge shines through a polish, but these are just perfect. They are opaque enough and there's still the depth you have with glitter-packed jellies.

What do you think? :)
